About me
I did not set out to become an author. I set out to find the truth.
For over six years, I have traced my family’s lineage from the quiet fields of Kent to the rugged Highlands of Scotland, following the trail into archives and lands few ever see. That search revealed far more than names and dates — it revealed a living legacy, stretching across centuries and bound to the great houses of history, from the Lords of Marden to the House of Árpád, the Plantagenets, the Tudors, the Stuarts, and the Windsor line.
Along the way, I have written more than two dozen books — some historical, some adventurous, some deeply personal. They range from sweeping, meticulously researched histories like The Lords of Marden series to memoirs such as The Royal Burden – Life in the DNA of Kings. I have also written works that help children understand truth, courage, and identity, including The Lie That Sounded Nice.
I write because history disappears when it is not told. I write because truth is worth defending, even when it is uncomfortable. And I write because legacy is not a trophy — it is a responsibility.
My books are more than records; they are living narratives. They connect past to present, revealing how our names and bloodlines carry the stories of those who came before us. Each one is a doorway into courage, mystery, and discovery — for young adventurers, seekers of truth, and anyone who believes the past still matters.
This is my story. And every page I write is an invitation to walk a little further into it.
